Which leads to the third point: Feminism approaches the world from a certain perspective.
Take, for example, feminist policies regarding arrest in cases of domestic violence. The Duluth Model and Predominant Aggressor Laws in the US lead to the arrest of men by the police regardless of whether they are victim or perpetrator of domestic abuse.
From the perspective of feminist ideology, that is equality. Their ideological tenets and their view of the world causally lead them to come to the conclusions to formulate and introduce these policies.
From the perspective of non-feminist and anti-feminists, this is unfair treatment, because the police should look to arrest the guilty party, the perpetrator, and not men by default.
But of course to express this means being “against equality” from the perspective of feminism, because feminist a) believe in false information about the world or b) draw false conclusions even if correct information are available to them. Feminists’ bias when assessing information and their default interpretation of information leads to specific outcomes.
That you are defending feminism so stoutly while not even necessarily being knowledgeable about feminist ideology is also part of feminist ideology, since it has created an atmosphere in which blind obedience is recommended and rewarded. You are not saying anything of value, nothing which contains information about reality or about what it actually, but it is a slogan and you fervently defend this empty slogan, regardless of what feminist ideology says in detail and to which policies and consequence it leads to in reality.
Feminism makes me ashamed to be a woman because it implies that the only way I’ll succeed in life is if men are forced to help me.
This is the way I’ve been looking at feminism lately. I don’t expect men to be forced to treat me a certain way simply because I am a woman. I expect myself to work past any obstacle to succeed in life. I don’t need men to do anything for that to happen.
